Outdoor BBQs and Carpet Picnics

The weather was glorious all weekend and it's carrying forward to the week.

Thank you to my two beautiful hosteses to the BBQs I went to this past weekend!

Saturday night we attended BBQ #1 at Christine and Paul's lovely home. We had various salads, grilled hot italian sausages and shrimp and a really fun orange frozen yogurt that I made in half an orange bowl. Too good for pictures!

BBQ #2 was at my aunt's house. She surprised us all with a most wonderful and decadent Peanut Butter Pie!!!

delicious!

Rocking the aviator glasses and straw hat!

Christine looking gorgeous as usual.

I got flowers as hostess gifts because I can't get over how gorgeous these are. The tag says they are "poms". Love the name.

And last but not least my brother and I made an amazing pasta meal in his sparse apartment and had ourselves a carpet picnic.

Spinach and Feta Ravioli with Antipasto Sauce
So glad the sun is back!

  4. The pie was (supposedly) supper easy! bake a brownie "crust" in a pie pan. Add vanilla pudding, brownie chunks and drizzle a lot of peanut butter on top. It's so moist and delicious!

Now that I think about it, wouldn't peanuts be great on top? Kind of like the Dairy Queen Peanut Buster Parfait. How decadent!

    Thanks for reading!
