Weekend "Off"

I was at my friend's cottage all weekend. I promised the BF I wouldn't blog. But I had to sneak a few pictures in of our fun times (that of course revolved around food!).

Each person was in charge of one meal (or part of one). The BF was in charge of steak for dinner. I usually ask for medium rare and have been disappointed lately. I tried requested "rare" and got exactly what I wanted!


I handled breakfast and the BF helped by cooking some leftover steak and frying up some tasty potatoes! We make a good team.

For our "leftovers" lunch we all pitched in. We had veggie burgers (beef for the boys!) with leftover rice salad (there was tons of fresh dill in this salad that made it mouthwatering!).

Thank goodness for sunny weekends at the cottage!
