I took friday off from work but I had a jam packed day of errands and activities!
I took the morning to "putter" (a.k.a. tidy up and get things done around the house). I cleaned, organized and made some food.
For breakfast I made a very tasty strawberry banana smoothie with some individual oatmeal bake cups.
Next I took my bike out to first go to a yoga class then to a few stores to pick ups some necessaties. I stopped off at Micheal's to sign up for a cake decorating class in september!
For lunch I fried up some soy dogs with spinach and served them with coleslaw. I also found a cheap hot dog bun alternative: half a pita! It's thin and wraps around the dog very well if you put it in the microwave for a few seconds and use ketchup and mustard as the glue.
For dinner, Billy and I made pizzas! I found some real mozzarella cheese and thought it would be great to try an authentic margarita pizza. It was SO good, with tons of flavour (I mixed my pizza sauce with some pesto and hot pepper flakes to kick it up a notch).
Billy's pizza was picture worthy. Check out how nicely browned the top is! He made a ham and veggie pizza.
It was a great way to start the weekend!
