closet switch

I love all the 1930's charms of our apartment. But sometimes I wonder where they put all their stuff. Our bedroom closet is small. So small I gave it to the BF and bought myself a dresser to fit my clothes. Even then it only fits one season's worth. Tonight I did the switch and packed away the summery garbs to make way for sweaters and pants in dark colours.

Don't get me wrong, this is a fun time. It's like I re-discover my wardrobe every season! "Oh yeah, I forgot about this skirt! I can't wait to try it with my new boots" etc.

Thankfully I don't have to do the same switch for my jewelry. Not only do I have this holder but i have a whole drawer full of necklaces and bracelets and a stand with more necklaces.

How big is your closet? Can you fit everything in it or do you do a closet switch?

mix and match

When I was packing last weekend I realized I was getting very tired of my clothes. That means one of two things: 

1) I need to go shopping, or

2) I need to mix and match more!

I chose the later.

I mixed my favourite white blouse with my high wasted brown skirt and matched them with my light brown boots.

 

Then yesterday I matched my usual "jacket and skirt" combo with a fun flowy blows with ties at the wrists.
