bbq'd salmon and an apron fashion show

I spend the night at my parent's lovely home last night and we had fun with the BBQ for dinner!

My mom and I made an awesome BBQ'd salmon with a mango, avocado and tomato salsa.



  I got herbs for the salsa from my mom's new herb garden!


We also had grilled asparagus and some awesome bruschetta (the tomatoes were perfect!).


After all that savory, we enjoyed some sweet in the form of chocolate cake, whipped cream and strawberries.


During prep I was sporting the aprons my mom recently made!



It's always a blast visiting my parents!

    Emilie...I LOVE the aprons! Especially the yellow one! Does your Mom sell them via an internet web site, or is this just a hobby?

    The strawberry/chocolate cake and the salsa look delicious.
