Peanut Butter and Oat Bites

I was in Kingston this past Tuesday and it was a jam-packed day of travelling, working and working out!

Starting the day on the road with some baked oatmeal, a green smoothie and some watermelon chunks.

Outfit shot at work!

Lunch: spinach salad, veggies and a peach!

Pre-30km ride dinner: bean and veggie burrito!

Post ride I had a huge peanut butter craving so I made these tasty bites using this recipe for inspiration.

Peanut Butter and Oat Bites
(makes 20 at around 105 calories each*)

1 Cup Rolled oats
1 Cup Fiber Cereal
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1 banana

Mix until well combined and roll into balls. Refrigerate overnight and enjoy!

Notes:
Keep refrigerate, they should last a few days. If you want them to last longer, omit the banana (I didn't find the banana added much anyway, some dried fruit would have been nice though)
I found them a bit sweet so I would reduce the honey next time
*I used the Canadian Nutrient File to calculate the calories
