Popsicles

It is SO easy to make your own healthy (or not so healthy!) popsicles. Honestly, it's robbery to buy them.

It's as easy as buying a mold (I got mine from the grocery store for $7!) and then making a smoothie! You can imagine the flavours are endless! Chocolate Coffee, Banana Strawberry, Blueberry, fudgesicle.... here's my newest favourite.


Hint of Chocolate Strawberry Banana Popsicles
makes 6 plus a small taster glass

1 cup skim milk
100g fat free strawberry yogurt
1 banana
3 strawberries plus 3 slices per pop
1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder

Blend until mixed together. Fruit chunks are good because they add texture. Before pouring into molds drop a couple of strawberry slices. Fill 3/4 of the way full then drop another slice (these add so much texture when they are frozen!). Cover and freeze overnight. To remove from mold run under hot water for a second or two and jimmy it out.
